An ever growing collection of flash-style drawings and illustrations.
I worked with the great people over at Bridge & Burn to create a Spotify playlist for their blog, as well as a cover to go alongside it. You can view the blog post here.
About the playlist:
I’ve always been enamored with rain and the eternal gloom of Oregon winters. It’s when I’m at my most creative and inspired, because there’s really nothing to do but cozy up inside, put on a good record, and draw until you can’t anymore. This set of songs is inspired by that, but with a glimmer of springtime hope in there. Think of that moment when the storm clouds part to let in a beautiful ray of sunshine from the other side.

During 2018, I partnered with Banana Stand Media, an amazing Portland organization that produces live records and music videos. They asked me to add illustrations to their photographs for a series of album covers. I wanted my illustrations to add another dimension to these covers and help reflect the music on the album.
I’m constantly inspired by the Portland music community, so I started a series of illustrations based off of my favorite Portland band lyrics. This is an constantly evolving and growing personal project, with new drawings added every year.

When Wieden+Kennedy asked me to design and paint a mural for their annual Halloween party, I jumped at the opportunity. To capture the spirit of the holiday for Wieden+Kennedy employees and their children alike, I created an eye-catching custom mural stuffed full ofsurprising, humorous, and spooky elements.
Working over two weeks, I sketched and painted the final mural on the main gallery wall measuring 34’5”x16’10”.

Grit & Gold is a vintage clothing business specializing in fashion from the 60s–90s located in Los Angeles. They sell primarily at flea markets, so I was asked to create an eye catching logo and illustrated sign they could use to advertise their booth.
Inspired by vintage artwork from the 60s and 70s, I created a bold and colorful logo and accompanying illustration that spoke to the quirky vintage character of the clothes and also helped draw people into the booth.
